SmithsonianTTEspañol allows students to read daily news articles in Spanish and post comments about the stories they read. Teachers moderate all comments before the comments are posted. SmithsonianTTEspañol helps to promote an informed, literate and civil electorate with the support of the Smithsonian Institution, a trust instrumentality of the United States established by an Act of Congress in 1846 “for the increase and diffusion of knowledge."
